Description

Fatal error: Cannot unset string offsets in /usr/local/www/interfaces.php on line 495

This is the error message I have been getting since 20100621-2115. I have upgraded to 20100630-1459. On each upgrade, the LAN interface will lose its IP and I have to manually go through the interface setup. A the end of the setup, I receive a file already exists error and the correct IP will return to the LAN interface.

Does your LAN IP disappear on the console at boot, or only when you view the LAN configuration in the web interface?

That error is unrelated to the behavior you are seeing if the LAN IP is lost on bootup, as it's only in the GUI. That said, I see why that gave you an error and I'll be committing a fix shortly.

My LAN IP does disappear at boot and needs to be configured again. The fatal error message comes up when I want to setup the WAN on the web interface.
