closedUpdates and Package Manager broken when pfSense accessed via SSH port forward

Hello,
i am still setting up my pfSense device, so at this point it is just a client device connected to my network via both, LAN and WAN interfaces, so both interfaces have local IP addresses.
This issue is reproducible every time. When pfSense device is accessed via SSH port forwarding to LAN interface, Package Manager is unable to install packages. When you click on Install button the page reloads to the Installed Packages page and installation never starts. Going to the Update page also redirects to the Installed Packages page.
Port forwarding is initiated via the following command. I have tried using ports 8443 and 443 and accessed via https://localhost:8443 or https://localhost.
ssh -L 8443:<LAN INTERFACE IP>:443 <EXTERNAL FIREWALL ADDRESS> ssh -L 443:<LAN INTERFACE IP>:443 <EXTERNAL FIREWALL ADDRESS>
All other pages and screens seem to work fine.

Old report and no recent recurrences. Lots of things in this area have changed, so most likely it's either fixed no longer relevant.
