Description

Hello,

I found this was a problem one year ago:

https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/5651

It however turns out to be a problem now again, 2.3.4-RELEASE (amd64).

I have attached three screenshots.

I was trying to create an interface for an OpenVPN road warrior (so that I can try static IP's for the road warriors).

Assigned openvpn interfaces do not work that way. You do not set an IP address on the interface like that, and they don't use DHCP servers like that either. Please post on the forum for configuration assistance.
