Description

Hi,

I have been seeing this in recent v2.4 builds, thinking it's something that should be fixed. When I reboot (or install an update), the boot process does not proceed fully to completion, without manual intervention. It starts to boot, but then "stalls" at,
alc0: link state changed to up
^
@

Pressing Enter allows this to proceed, then stalls again at,
Enter the WAN Interface ... (longer message)

Again, pressing Enter allows the boot to proceed. And in the latest version (Fri Jul 14 17:58:03 CDT 2017) ... I never get to the console options (on the console). The machine is up, but stalled after
Configuring firewall ...... done

Are others seeing this also?

This is not happening on any systems here. Please do not open bug reports until the problems have been properly evaluated on the forum first to eliminate issues with your local systems unrelated to pfSense.

OK, NP - thought it was best to capture ... I admit, not sure of the link between the forum and redmine. Sorry!

FYI, this only started with some of the more recent builds, didn't occur before. I'm afraid one of the updates broke something, not quite sure how to get it corrected.

Thanks!
