i think it would be a great added ux/ui improvement to add a simple toggle for the logging and controlling the disabled class on the icon to highlight or not highlight it whether its active or not Or even if its easier just a quick toggle for turning the logging off, a simple single click to turn off helps when you have logging turned on a bunch of rules at a time.
I would even be willing to try to contribute to this if needed.
