loos' recent commit hosed loader.conf; systems fail reboot at mountroot> b/c opensolaris & zfs ko's don't get loaded.

Current snapshots are fine with zfs. Most likely your last update from before this snapshot wiped that out, not the code in the current snapshot.

I have updated and rebooted a ZFS system on a current snapshot multiple times now. No problems at all.
