Description

I have noticed that a colon is not allowed in the "Service name" of a PPPoE configuration under "Interface > WAN".
Our ISP requires "6:CLIENTID" as the "Service name" (where "CLIENTID" is the assigned client ID), otherwise the connection will not work.

I was able to enter the colon during installation by using the Setup Wizard.
I have noticed the following error after committing changes, after I had edited the PPPoE Configuration:
"The service name contains invalid characters".

I am able to workaround this issue by running the "Setup Wizard" again.
I am able to reproduce this error under pfSense version 2.4.2 and version 2.4.3.

I would like to thank you for any help by fixing this bug.
