Description

Hello, I have the Netgate SG-1000 and have Zen VDSL2+ internet in the UK. I have 80Mbps down, 20Mbps up. I am currently using the Draytek Vigor 130 as my modem in bridged mode and doing the PPPoE on the SG-1000. While the SG-1000 is capable of pushing my speeds over PPPoE, what it fails at doing is responding to the PPPoE keepalives from the PPPoE server when I utilize my full bandwidth, causing the server to send a terminate request. So when ever I utilize my full 80Mbps down, say download a game from Steam, give it a minute or two and my connection drops as a result. My ISP, Zen, confirms this is the issue. I believe it may be because the CPU in the SG-1000 is being pegged and prioritizing pf/NAT that it doesn't have enough CPU cycles to reply to the keepalive from the pppoe daemon. I tried doing the pppoe auth on the modem itself to offload this process but haven't had such success. I feel there may be something you can do to test and fix this issue within the SG-1000 itself and would definitely classify it as a bug as the SG-1000 should be able to do atleast 100Mbps even if it's PPPoE.

I have attached some logs to verify the incident.
