Description

uncheck "DHCP Registration" and "Static DHCP" in WebGUI doesn't change unbound's behavior.

@# Static host entries
include: /var/unbound/host_entries.conf

  1. dhcp lease entries
    include: /var/unbound/dhcpleases_entries.conf@

in unbound.conf remains unchanged.

Those directives are always present. The contents of those files are what matter.

OK, I looked into /var/unbound/dhcpleases_entries.conf, its content does not get cleared by uncheck these boxes. I had to manfully rm the file, was this expected as well?

Also content in /var/unbound/dhcpleases_entries.conf stays unchanged after uncheck the boxes and save, so unbound can still resolve DHCP assigned hosts

Oh man, I hit this bug today bigtime on a 2.4.4-p3 system. Took awhile to figure out why DNS was resolving incorrectly. Any reason to think this bug has been fixed in 2.4.5-p1 or 2.5.0 snaps? If not, I'd like to nominate it for re-election!

I'm not sure why this was marked "Not A Bug"?
