Request for feature change.
Why do the firewall rules list toggle between a URL list and a drop down? Why not just have a drop down?
It is very disorienting to have the interface change from a URL list to a drop down after you add a rule. For a moment, it looks like all the rules have been wiped out.

It's done deliberately. Tabs are more convenient for short lists of interfaces. With longer lists of interfaces, drop-downs are simpler.

We will have to agree to disagree.
We find it less convenient that the interface toggles between two methods of display and in fact causes us more issues to have to explain this to personnel as a feature (like "Apply") that is sometimes present and sometimes not. We have to advise people to be hyperaware and not to depend on the interface always being consistent
We have at least ten of the hardware firewalls in place now (and growing) and depending on the firewall, sometimes its URL tabs and sometimes it s a drop down. Lacks consistency which leads to confusion and potential down time.
