Description

Hi,

would it be possible to implement RFC 7078 in pfSense? I guess most of the client systems don't support it yet, but maybe others would follow if you lead. I think this feature should be fairly easy to implement, and could help a lot of people solving different routing issues (for example: Netflix is offering/using IPv6, but is blocking Hurricane Electric IPv6 Tunnel addresses for streaming).

Thanks and Regards,
Carsten

  • Category set to DHCP (IPv6)
  • Priority changed from Normal to Very Low

In order to support this, the DHCP server (ISC DHCPD) must support it. I'm not turning up anything that matches this in their docs, but if you can find a specific reference that shows it is supported and how it's configured, we can look into it.
