Description

I believe this would make it clear when someone can;t write config, as currently there is no error and simply the configuration done is discarded without any feedback about what was wrong. It would be nice to have error messages displaying what is wrong for example, you do not have permission to write configuration.

Can confirm this is definitely what occurs. However, there is a logged event in the System Logs about a write deny, so there is some feedback. Its simply not in the webConfigurator's UI unless you're looking for it in the logs.

Can confirm this is still an issue in 22.05 of pfSense Plus. There is no visual feedback or an error notification due to write fail.
