Description
In my alix board, I can plug a CF and an Hard drive. As I had troubles booting on my hard drive directly, my plan was to use the CF card for the "OS" and move all the data that requires R/W access to my hard drive (like havp, squid, etc).
It would be nice then to have some external storage capacities to use such hard drive in addition to the CF. Another use case would be to split OS accross many disks.

nanobsd is dead and with current installer users can setup disks/partitions with any desired layout
