Packet Capture IPv6 rejects all packets if CARP type is set in Protocol field.
It might be an upstream issue.
tcpdump -i vmx0 ip6 and carp tcpdump: expression rejects all packets

It appears both are caught by "proto 112", so it might not be too difficult to solve that way.

A "silly" workaround might be renaming CARP in dropdown Protocol list to CARP IPv4.
