Namecheap DDNS allows '*' (wildcard), (wildcard) as well as '@' for the unqualified domain, but the page does not accept these values. I needed this value. functionality so I used a "Custom" updater which works for now but it is a little confusing because even the Wiki (https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Dynamic_DNS#Namecheap) says: <pre> To update an @ record, use @.yourdomain.com for the hostname. </pre> Below is the error I get from pfSense: !ddns2.png!
