At https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/solutions/vmware/index.html, https://www.netgate.com/docs/pfsense/solutions/vmware/index.html, there is a "VMware READY" logo at the top of the page and docs for the deprecated ova. Since the ova is no longer offered, it may be good to update the resource to remove the ova references and rework the "Setting Up VMware ESXi" guide to walk the user through configuring pfSense in VMware and installation of the Open VM Tools package.
