Currently, pfSense uses C-Tags (ethertype 0x8100) for QinQ interfaces. Ideally, it should keep default to C-Tags on existing configuration but default to and provide the option to use S-Tags (ethertype 0x88A8). https://www.iana.org/assignments/ieee-802-numbers/ieee-802-numbers.xhtml
