The official v4 flavor of the fix is represented by commits 358ad2f and f5305f5. They will be available in v4.11. To get that fix now, you can either build Squid from git-controlled sources or get bootstrapped v4.10 sources and patch them with https://github.com/squid-cache/squid/compare/91d3228..358ad2f.patch

The latest FreeBSD squid port version is 4.11-p2, see https://www.freshports.org/www/squid
