Bug #11525
closedpfsense 2.5.0 release version for vlan issue to suricata
0%
Description
I have found that pfsense vlans have issues on suricata after updated to 2.5.0 release in esxi 7.0.1 virtual machine. before this issue was not found in the previous version of pfsense!
To solve this issue temporarily, i have to save each vlan interface by going to
TAB INTERFACE --> OPT 1 and "save" interface
TAB INTERFACE --> OPT 2 and "save" interface
More explanations regarding the issue!
-----------------------------------------------------
This issue found for every restart on pfsense. I am not able to get "Alerts" and "Blocks" from suricata. To solve it I have to save each OPT interfaces separately for every restart.
Need a solution for this issue as soon as possible. always happy to see pfsense on network security.

- Does this happen only on VLAN interfaces; have you tried non-vlan interfaces?
- Are you using vmxnet3 or something else?
- Does this happen on latest development snapshot?
