Renewing a certificate without a ``type`` value assumes a server certificate

Description

When renewing a certificate, if the type field is empty, the renewal process results in a certificate with its type set to "server" even if the certificate is not capable of being a server certificate.

It should try to determine the type automatically if possible by checking certificate properties, or leave it empty if it can't be determined.
