Queue count is set automatically according to vCPU count. Tested on vmx0:

[22.01-RELEASE][root@site-a-fw1.lab.arpa]/root: dmesg | grep -Ew 'descriptors|queues'
vmx0: Using 4096 TX descriptors and 2048 RX descriptors
vmx0: Using 8 RX queues 8 TX queues
vmx0: netmap queues/slots: TX 8/4096, RX 8/2048
vmx1: Using 512 TX descriptors and 512 RX descriptors
vmx1: Using 8 RX queues 8 TX queues
vmx1: netmap queues/slots: TX 8/512, RX 8/512
