Description

Configuring a Download bandwidth of "100 Mbit/s" in the traffic shaper multi wizard leads to a bandwidth of "104857.6 Kbit/s" on the LAN queue. It would be nice if it would keep the 100 Mbit/s here.

Works as expected on the latest snapshots.

Mhm odd, I am trying against the snapshots from today and I get the behavior in the attached screenshots. Please don't get me wrong, that is not a real "bug" but mainly a minor annoyance. Aside from the data shown in the screenshot I left all other checkboxes unchecked in the following pages.

Yes, I replicated that. It's a minor cosmetic issue.

steps to reproduce:

1. Run Traffic Shaper Wizards

2. Choose traaffic_shaper_wizard_dedicated.xml
3. Enter the number of WAN type connections 1
4. Set 100Mbit/s on both Upload/Download
5. Click next till the end of Wizards
6. Navigate to Firewall/Traffic Shaper/By Interface - LAN

The bandwidth has the right value just presented in Kbits/s

Tested against the version below:

2.7.0-DEVELOPMENT (amd64)
built on Tue Apr 26 06:13:40 UTC 2022
FreeBSD 12.3-STABLE

It works as expected. I am marking this ticket resolved.
