Description
between 1.2.3 and 2.0-rc1, have lost 25% of bandwidth. configuration is identical, but uninstalled snort just to be sure.
have a 50m/10m business connection from Comcast. test from modem (cutting out firewall) shows circuit performing to spec. consistent test results 37m/6.5m inside firewall.
please advise.

Please post in the forum with details for diagnosis. That detail alone isn't a valid bug report.

wanted to know if this is a known issue for a simple uniprocessor configuration. by your response, i'd guess not.
what details do you require? and if this isn't where bugs are reported, then where would be the correct place?
This may not be a bug, but a configuration issue, driver issue, etc. Use the forum (http://forum.pfsense.org) and post as much detail about your config and hardware as possible. If, after diagnosing the issue there, it is determined to be an actual bug that we can do something about, then we can open a ticket to work on it.

removed traffic shaper, now performs at wire speed.
good news, problem solved.
maybe traffic shaper will be fixed in release version. thanks anyway.
