Regression #13741
closedUpdate message interpreted as the available version
0%
Description
In some circumstances the message sent by the update server is seen as the available version by the GUI upgrade page:
Messages: Your Netgate device has pfSense+ as part of your device purchase. Current Base System: 23.01.a.20221209.1819 Latest Base System: Your Status: Running a newer version.
The page shows that as being older than the current version so does not present the upgrade button.
It is still possible to upgrade at the console.
I'm seeing this on all aarch64 devices and not on others but I've yet to see anything else that presented a message so I may simply not have hit it on other archs yet.

Steve,
Are you still seeing this on the Dec 10th builds? I just checked this on amd64 and can't reproduce this (although you did say aarch64). Seems odd this would be a aarch64 only thing, but I suppose it's possible.

You will only see it on a system that is sent a message. I believe that's only the aarch64 supported devices right now. An unsupported device would likely also hit it because that would be sent a message.
You only see it when an update is actually available.

Yes, the message error affects any device that receives it. Not limited to aarch64.
