Currently the config restore code always defaults the update repo branch to current stable. The branch set in the config itself is overridden.
This works to prevent problems restoring a config that had a different branch set into the current stable version but causes problems if the running version is not current stable.

In order to allow easily restoring a config into a different version the user should be allowed to select repo branch to be used when restoring. Or allow the user to select the repo branch in the imported config instead of overriding it.
