If use of verify/commit boot environment users will not be able to commit or verify as GUI times out. Can updates be made to disable GUI timeouts?

The default timeout is 4 hours, which should be enough time for any of those actions. It can be changed, or even disabled, in System > User Manager > Settings

Sorry I forgot to include this is for users that changed the timeout to 5 mins or so. If I leave my desk the firewall logs me out etc. I like that security, again during updates I wish it would disable my timeout and turn if back on after verify is clicked or something. If user timeout then set timeout to upgrade mode

Thanks for the clarification. I'll move it to a feature request.

I agree that the timeout should be paused during or restarted after performing the upgrade.
