Description

Tested on

24.03-RELEASE (amd64)
built on Thu Apr 18 23:54:00 UTC 2024
FreeBSD 15.0-CURRENT

I have been able to reproduce this multiple times. It was originally reported by a customer who is dual-booting Windows & Linux. I was able to hit it doing that, but also notice it on occasion even when just rebooting a live Linux distro.

The attachments are with the VM MAC address set as a static lease to 192.168.2.50, but it is being assigned an IP from the configured pool instead.

confirmed, also experiencing this behavior with 24.03 - Changing the IP or creating a new reservation does not always seem to work, and less so it would seem for numbers previously used.

Not a bug, the client ID differs and there is an option to ignore the client ID, which you most likely haven't set.
