Description

There is a quirk in managing the Kea DHCP and DHCPv6 daemons when using the service controls on Status > Services as well as the controls in the shortcuts in the DHCP/DHCPv6 config pages and status pages.

  • The DHCP and DHCPv6 services can be stopped independently -- if you stop one or the other, only that service stops -- This is OK and expected
  • If both services are stopped, starting either one starts both daemons -- This is unexpected since it should only start the one that was clicked, not both.

With ISC DHCP/DHCPv6 stopping or starting either one acted on both which was also unexpected, but it was consistent between stop and start actions.

Very minor, no need to bother with it until the next release. Can be closed and documented if it's not viable to change.
