Description

User requests for an option to automatically remove and/or revoke user's certificates when deleting a local user.

I'll mark this as confirmed, as certificates do remain around when a user is deleted.

However, this is how it is for many different aspects of pfSense. Certs created by packages like ACME, for example, are going to be retained even if you uninstall the package, as another example.

I suspect this hasn't been done automatically because it could cause issues if you are trying to delete and re-add the user account and then re-associate the certificate to the user.

I, personally, think this shouldn't be done automatically on user deletion, as it could cause more problems than it solves, but I'll leave that up to our developers to decide.

Agree, a simple checkbox when deleting users saying "Delete certificates associated with user" should be enough.
