Description

when I try to install packages on 25.11.a.20250816.0600 I get "installation failed!"

WARNING: Current pkg repository has a new PHP major
version. pfSense should be upgraded before
installing any new package.

I can't reproduce that here. On the latest 25.11 snapshot (25.11.a.20250816.0600) I can install packages without error. So either it was temporary or it's specific to your install/repo config/architecture maybe.
