Description

mdns-bridge version 2.6.0 is available in upstream FreeBSD ports.

Version 2.5.0/2.6.0 represents a bug fix release containing the following pertinent changes:
  • Suppress error logging when destination network (interface) is disconnected.
  • Ensure link local addresses or invalid types are not inadvertently forwarded.
  • Don't force re-encode of outgoing packets when incoming filters had no effect.
  • Fix potential read overruns in processing dns labels.
  • Fix incorrect check for IPv4 link local addresses.
  • Fix issue of packet with excessive query count in header not being dropped unless the warn flag was in use.
  • Set IPV6_MULTICAST_HOPS rather than IPV6_UNICAST_HOPS.
  • Add missing types (SVCB/HTTPS) in outbound filtering.
  • Force single threaded termination handling.
