Description

Option 2 in the console menu allows for initializing an interface as a WAN or LAN. To that end it removes all configuration on the lan interface for the DHCP4/6 Server (and clears all ISC DHCP leases), Traffic Shaper, and NAT. All of this happens regardless of whether the interface being initialized is actually assigned to lan.

Make the following changes to the option:
  • Make changes only for the chosen interface.
  • Make changes only when the chosen interface has been configured as a WAN.
  • Clear Kea leases in addition to ISC DHCP leases.
  • Keep Traffic Shaper and NAT configuration since that affects all interfaces.
