Description

The DHCPv4 service allows the Windows MAC address format (xx-xx-xx-xx-xx) to be entered in a DHCP reservation mapping which will automatically be converted to the colon format used by pfSense (xx:xx:xx:xx:xx). This allows for easy copy and pasting from Windows clients. The DHCPv6 service does not allow this unfortunately. It requires a colon format to be entered. It does allow a Windows dashed format to be entered and does not provide an error through the UI if you do so. In the background however, the DHCPv6 service will crash and stop working showing in its logs that it's because of the dashed notation being used. It would be nice to add a little piece of JavaScript which will transform the dashes to colons before saving the new DHCPv6 mapping.

I can provide for the JavaScript to do this, if needed. Just let me know.
