Description

Hello,
I'd like to change a little bit the "Status-Queues" page, adding a "hierarchical" view in order to show a little bit better how the queues are working.

If you like the attachment I could develop it... what do you think about it?

Thanks,
Michele

Hello Michele,

This is a good idea. Could you please do it and send a pull request on pfsense project at github [1]?

Thanks!

Of course! I wanted to receive some feedback on this idea before just doing/publishing it...

To make it work, I also need to change a little bit the code of qstats (in the pfsense-tools project) and recompile it.

Btw, ok then, I will work on it (unfortunately my spare time is not so much in this period) and will ask a merge request when ready, thanks!

Well, I think we can close this, or if you have any suggestions/problems please write me!

Well, the new status queues page still doesn't show Borrows, Suspends or Drops:

    <queue>
        <name>qDefault</name>
        <interface>bge0</interface>
        <bandwidth>13.82Mb</bandwidth>
        <pkts>32723</pkts><bytes>13123645</bytes><droppedpkts>16</droppedpkts><droppedbytes>24224</droppedbytes><qlength>0/50</qlength><measured>5.5</measured><measuredspeed>15.55Kb</measuredspeed><measuredspeedint>15551.3</measuredspeedint>
    </queue>

And interfaces are missing when using PRIQ or FAIRQ, more on that [[http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,58485.0.html]]

well, it seems all the issues about this task has been solved... if no one has nothing to say, I think we can close it.
Thanks, Michele
