Description

Error while saving gateway page, having the default checkbox checked:
- "The gateway address 2001:x:x:x::1 does not lie within one of the chosen interface's subnets."

When adding the gateway from the gif interface, it does allow setting it to be the default gateway, and shows as such in the gateways edit page. After this the default route is set correctly.
- When rebooting the default route is nolonger set, even though default gateway is still set on System\Gateways page..

I think ive seen somewhere mentioned the gateway address should be configured as the literal text 'dynamic' this way the gateway edit page can be saved without error.. However this does not work when set from interface edit page, and neither works when set from System\Gateways page, rebooting does not fix default route shown by "netstat -6 -r -n" either..

The IP address and gateway settings on Interfaces > [assigned gif name] should remain at "None".

There is a dynamic gateway generated automatically. It does not require any manual intervention. Remove any manually added gateways, set the IP types to "None" on the assigned interface, and ensure the settings on the GIF are correct and it will work properly.

Follow up on the forum if more explanation is required.
