Description
The setup wizard has some JavaScript to validate the hostname. This script does not accept upper case letters in the hostname text, but they are allowed under System > General Setup. This can be misleading as the default hostname includes a capital letter ("pfSense"). If someone tries to adjust the default value even by adding a number or letter, the script claims the hostname is invalid.
Tested on a current 2.2.3 snapshot and the VMware appliance OVA
