webConfiguration interface is broken on IE 8:

Might be related with Bug #5559

that's what happens when you have compatibility mode enabled in IE, disable it.

Compatibility mode is disabled on the screenshots above.

If I enable it, things will be different, but still bad:

IE 8 is otherwise fundamentally broken in that case. IE 8's end of support is 2 weeks away, you shouldn't be using it anymore.
