Description

On a snapshot from today (pfSense-2.0-BETA1-20100524-0526.iso), the installer stops at "waiting for backend" when invoked, either from option 99 or the 'i' prompt earlier in the boot process.

You can ctrl-c and break out of the installer, but that is all. The installer.log contains only one line:

BSD Installer started
