Bug #6183
closedAssign Interfaces allows you to define multiples of the same VLAN
0%
Description
New install of 2.3 on RCC-VE 2440. While assigning interfaces at the console you are able to add the same VLAN (e.g. 10) multiple times on the same interface (e.g. igb1). If you then set the LAN as igb1_vlan10 and login to the webConfigurator you are unable to modify or delete the duplicate VLAN. I've tried changing the VLAN ID, adding a description or changing the interface which all fail. Had to factory reset to remove.

As a workaround in webConfigurator you can use the Diagnostics / Backup & Restore / Config History to remove the duplicate VLAN.

Just to be clear you are adding duplicate VLANs from option 2) (Assign Interfaces) of the TTY console right, not the web interface?

Yep, adding the duplicate VLANs from the TTY console.
Attempting to add duplicate VLANs from webConfigurator results in the following error.
The following input errors were detected: * A VLAN with the tag 10 is already defined on this interface.
