Description

Given the other changes on 2.4 (e.g. dropping i386), it may also be time to remove the polling option from /usr/local/www/system_advanced_network.php and the backend code from etc/inc/pfsense-utils.inc and etc/rc.bootup.

The option has not had a positive effect in quite some time, and the hardware where it was once useful isn't capable of running 2.4.

If there is a compelling reason to keep it, we can retain it for the time being.
