Description
When trying to boot using UEFI mode, installer hangs at 'Consoles: EFI Consoles'
Using Dell Optiplex 7010 or 9010 desktop, which boots UEFI fine with Windows and Ubuntu memsticks.
The 7010 desktop will boot if I pull NIC's out, but a similar 7010 and 3010 and 9010 SFF's will never boot regardless of BIOS settings or installed NIC's using UEFI.
Everything works fine in Legacy mode.
I suspect whatever the installer is looking for after the 'Consoles: EFI Consoles' hangs the install.

I have encountered a similar problem, first try to restore the BOIS default settings, and then set the UEFI mode to start.
Otherwise replace the motherboard. I think it is a system compatibility issue
It is actually a FreeBSD bug which I have reported. Happens with many different models of Dell Optiplex's.
Every other distro I have tried LinuxMint, Ubuntu, Debian, and Windows Installs and all work fine in UEFI mode.
- Status changed from New to Needs Patch
- Target version deleted (
2.4.0)
Once FreeBSD figures out a fix it can be pulled in, but a bug like that isn't going to hold up 2.4 since it is specific to that hardware.
