It would be nice to have a facility built in for logging states as they are created. The idea is that for compliance reasons, many locations now need to know who internally was talking with someone externally and right now the options are to either use netflow, or to latch tcpdump onto pfsync. Neither of those options are particularly great and having a built in system for doing so would be quite useful.
