Enable an option to choose how to restart system

Description
With the current reboot cycle it will just hang at the end, and I tried to disable ACPI and find related settings in the BIOS/EFI to see if anything stood in the way of rebooting. It does everything expected, turn off hard drive(s) and system is at halt, but it just doesn't reboot.
However, if I run "shutdown -r now" it works as expected.
So I just wonder if it could be implemented an option for "alternative reboot"?

The problem is specific to your hardware and not a general issue. Adding an option for that, which would be of no use to the vast majority of users and would only serve as a source of confusion, does not seem likely. Especially not when a BIOS update or a new FreeBSD version may change the behavior yet again.

Well the user forums for 2.4 dev. seems to be pretty much filled up with the same issues. Anyway, some say it might have been fixed in FreeBSD 11.1 which will be used with pfSense 2.4.1.
I do however strongly disagree that it will be any confusion, with a proper description this is easy to avoid. Something like: "if you experience trouble rebooting, you can try this option instead" it's just about toggling and make an option.
