Description

I'am looking for a way to join graphics/charts as image objects (png, gif, jpg, and so on...) in mail reports.
I notice that the rddgraph feature was not available due to compilation choices.
I understand that it is desirable that charts would be as possible similar in email that they appears in the web interface.

Finaly, i found this feature, that it could be used to do that, but i don't know if pfsense project can use it to grab chart in gif format.
Here is the exemple galery about this tool :
https://documentation.image-charts.com/gallery/

It can bring gif by url call like this :
https://image-charts.com/chart?cht=lc&chs=700x300&chd=t:10,25,30,40,12,48,100,20,47,29,84,30,27,50,70&chxt=x,y&chxl=0:%7CJun%7CJul%7CAug%7CSep%7COct%7CNov%7CDec%7CJan%7C1:%7C%7C50%7C100&chm=B,FCECF4,0,0,0&chco=E4061C&chdl=Coffee%20consumed&chma=0,0,20,10&chl=%7C%7C%7C%7C%7C%7Csuch%20a%20very%20%20%20big%20project!

We can grab it as file and join it as attachemet in mail reports.
They talk about "COMMUNITY - Free forever" in the pricing tab, maybe it can be used in pfsense package ?

Can i have your opinion about it ?

Anything like that would have to be self-contained on the firewall. Relying on an external/internet-based service is a bad idea, especially since you are sending what some might consider sensitive data to an untrusted third party.
