Description
System: Gateway Groups
When attempting to create a rout group (System -> Routes -> Groups), upon completion, the system acts as if it has completed, but the group does not show in the list.

I would suggest this is related to:
http://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/919
Please confirm so this can be closed.
A workaround would be to update firmware, then backup and edit backup to remove gateways with "monitor ip" manually entered in them, then restore. After the restore your gateway should recreate (if dynamic ip), if not manually recreate it, then create gateway group.
I tested this issue and it works for me on a recent snapshot. I get a group showing up in the list.
If you haven't tested on a recent snapshot, please download one and test this again. Also, please re-save, or delete and re-create your gateways entries.
I have downloaded Today's Snapshot, and it appears to create the group.
This appears to be fixed.
