Description

On 2.5.0 snapshots when DHCP lease integration is enabled for the DNS Resolver, the following error is logged at boot:

Mar 4 16:45:27 dhcpleases 79337 kqueue error: unkown

Updated by Steve R over 5 years ago

this appears on a vanilla install with only DHCP / DNS Resolver turned on in 2.4.4_p2 on a J1900 NanoPC box

"DNS Query Forwarding" - Enable/Disabled - makes no difference to the error
"Register DHCP static mappings in the DNS Resolver" - Enable/Disabled - makes no difference to the error

the trigger for the error is "Register DHCP leases in the DNS Resolver"
- checked error occurs, unchecked no error

Error first appears immediately after boot and any time unbound is re-started

The error is no longer logged after restarting unbound/rebooting the firewall.
