Just to add to the "How to install pfSense on Hyper-V":
Fact: When installing pfSense as a Gen 2 VM, secure boot is going to be enabled by default.
Issue: pfSense won't boot.
Solution: Under Settings --> Security --> Secure Boot = Disable "Enable Secure Boot"
