Description
The avahi package is complaining about NSS support being missing and dependency errors on startup in 2.5.2.
WARNING: No NSS support for mDNS detected, consider installing nss-mdns!
Additionally, there is errors about service groups:
Failed to add service 'pfSense' of type '_ssh._tcp', ignoring service group (/usr/local/etc/avahi/services/ssh.service): Not permitted

This issue is still present in the June 17th build.

The service warnings are expected if you don't have publishing enabled. It's disabled by default.

Confirmed this is the case. We may want to consider making this a "more friendly" error, as it looks like a bug until you know this.
However, the NSS support message is still there even with publishing enabled.

Tested on RC3 of 21.09. Still present. Is this going to make it into 21.09 before it's pushed public?

It's a package, not a part of the base system, so updates are not tied to any release.
It could be updated any time, including after release.

I understand this, but we're testing this package for 21.09 release. If it could be pushed to the repos for 21.09 before release that would be helpful.

Are we going to move this forward? This has been in a pull request review for 2 months. Can the changes be merged so we can test?
