Description

To ensure proper routing/function with IPv6, when working with IPv6 IPs on some pages we need to make sure to add the scope to the source/target properly, especially when dealing with link-local addresses.

Pages that need fixed:
  • Ping
  • Traceroute
  • Port Test
  • DNS Forwarder
  • NTP
    Maybe others.
    Some software may not properly accept or handle the scope. It's not the end of the world if it doesn't work with the software, it's just better if we can specify it. Certain combinations of scoping/lack-of-scope may not work as expected.
