Description

After upgrading from 2.2.6 to 2.3Release on my Alix, on the next boot I see from the console:

===================================================
Generating RRD graphs...
Code: [Select]
Fatal trap 12: page fault while in kernel mode
cpuid = 0; apic id = 00
fault virtual address = 0x0
fault code = supervisor read, page not present
instruction pointer = 0x20:0xc12a67ea
stack pointer = 0x28:0xd32de6d8
frame pointer = 0x28:0xd32de6e0
code segment = base 0x0, limit 0xfffff, type 0x1b = DPL 0, pres 1, def32 1, gran 1
processor eflags = interrupt enabled, resume, IOPL = 0
current process = 38891 (ping)
[ thread pid 38891 tid 100068 ]
Stopped at bcopy+0x1a: repe movsl (%esi),%es:(%edi) ===================================================

then the firewall reboots with the same result.
The only way to solve the probem is to choose to boot from version 2.2.6 at the start-up.
I also deleted all the RRD data before upgrading but the problem did not solve.

Thanks,
Michele
